Bodrum was packed over the bank holiday period after July 2016’s Ramadan holiday with record numbers descending on to the peninsula. The hotspots of Yalikavak and Gumusluk took in the most visitors. Local newspapers reported 2,000,000 tourists with an extra 145 airplanes bringing in the visitors to the ever more popular local resorts.
Bodrum has always been the main holiday destination in Turkey and Turkish tourist mixed with international visitors enjoying entertainment, concerts, and festivals taking place around the peninsula, making it an exciting summer.
Yalikavak’s newly opened Zuma famed for its modern Japanese cuisine that is famously authentic is among the main attractions, with compelling food, immaculate service and glamorous design, other locations to Yalikavak-Bodrum are London’s Knightsbridge, Hong Kong, Dubai, Bangkok, Miami, New York and Rome.
